MO HB1940

Requires businesses in Missouri that employ more than 100 employees to provide four weeks of paid family leave to employees for the birth of a child or placement of a child for adoption.

Applies to all entities doing business in the state including individuals, sole proprietorships, partnerships, limited liability companies, and corporations.

Excludes state departments, agencies, instrumentalities, and political subdivisions from the paid family leave requirement.

Amends Chapter 288 of Missouri Revised Statutes by adding Section 288.399.
