Requires the chief law enforcement official of municipal detention facilities, county jails, regional jails, or private jails to notify the Missouri Information Analysis Center (MIAC) within five hours of an escape by a person convicted of or suspected of committing a dangerous felony.

Notification must include the escaped individual's name, physical description, photograph or video, description of any transportation being used, and information about any person believed to be assisting in the escape.

Notification must also include the crimes for which the person was incarcerated and contact information for the jail or detention facility to enable public reporting of information about the escaped person's whereabouts.

Applies to escapes from municipal detention facilities, county jails, regional jails, and private jails.
