Converts the nonvoting student representative position to a voting student curator position if Missouri loses a congressional district following the 2010 census redistricting.

Student curator shall have voting rights on all board matters including hiring or firing the university president, chancellors, general counsel, board secretary, and other general officers, but is excluded from decisions regarding hiring or firing of faculty or staff.

First student curator appointed in January 2011 shall serve a two-year term provided the person maintains full-time student status; student curator may be from any congressional district.

Student curator is selected from a panel of three names submitted by student government presidents of university campuses and must be a U.S. citizen and Missouri resident enrolled as a full-time student at University of Missouri.

Existing provisions regarding the nonvoting student representative position remain in effect, with modifications to accommodate the conversion to a voting student curator position if the congressional district loss occurs.
