Repeals and replaces section 247.060 of Missouri Revised Statutes regarding water supply district board management and compensation.

Board members previously served without pay; this bill establishes an attendance fee of up to $100 per regularly called or special board meeting, with a limit of two meetings per calendar month (four in counties of the first classification).

Chairperson of the board may receive an additional $50 per meeting with a two-meeting monthly limit, and the secretary and treasurer may receive up to $1,000 per year in additional compensation for their respective duties.

Board members must complete training on water treatment, distribution, budgeting, rates, utility planning, capital improvements, financial statements, and Missouri sunshine law before receiving any compensation.

Board members who miss three consecutive regular meetings without excuse after certified mail notification shall vacate their seat, with vacancies filled by appointment by remaining board members.
