Change the word "may" to "shall" in section 226.952, making it mandatory for the Missouri Department of Transportation to file certified corridor maps with regulatory authorities and recorders of deeds when a new or relocated state highway location is approved.

Repeal section 226.957(2) which exempted state-funded highway projects without federal funding from corridor map filing requirements.

Repeal section 226.957(4) which exempted corridor maps for highways in already fully developed areas with commercial, industrial, or residential structures.

Change language in section 226.971 from permissive to mandatory, requiring the commission to institute court actions to prevent violations and immediately obtain orders to stop unlawful construction, and mandating property restoration at the violator's expense.

Add a new requirement for the state auditor to annually audit the commission's compliance with highway corridor provisions, with salary freezes imposed on commission employees found to have knowingly violated the law causing loss of state road funds.
