Amends section 447.558, RSMo, to authorize the state treasurer to sell abandoned property at public or online sales, in addition to traditional in-person auctions.

Permits the treasurer to conduct online sales of unclaimed property without the requirement for newspaper publication of notice that applies to public sales.

Maintains the two-year deadline for selling abandoned property delivered to the treasurer and preserves the treasurer's authority to decline insufficient bids or decline to sell property when sale costs exceed value.

Clarifies that purchasers at public or online sales receive clear title to property free from all claims of prior owners and holders.

Directs all proceeds from abandoned property sales to be deposited into the abandoned funds account.
