Governor must maintain and regularly update a listing of all state appointive boards, commissions, committees, and councils with members appointed by the governor, including appointee names, residency, race, gender, and term expiration dates.

Executive officers, directors, or chairs of each state appointive board, commission, committee, and council must electronically report membership information to the governor's office by May 31, 2011, and annually thereafter.

Governor must provide upon request a listing showing the composition of boards, commissions, committees, and councils by race, gender, geographic location, and term expiration dates by May 31, 2012, without including members' names or personal identifying information.

All information collected shall be public records except race and gender data, which may be withheld from the governor's website.

The bill does not prohibit individuals from completing their terms on boards or create private rights of action.
