Amends Chapter 571 (firearms regulations) by adding Section 571.065 to prohibit the knowing sale of handgun ammunition in home rule cities with more than 400,000 inhabitants located in more than one county.

Extends the prohibition to cities of the third classification with more than 4,700 but fewer than 4,800 inhabitants located in counties of the first classification with more than 184,000 but fewer than 188,000 inhabitants.

Violation of the handgun ammunition sales prohibition constitutes a Class A misdemeanor.
