Request Missouri's elected statewide officials to oppose the EPA's December 7, 2009 endangerment finding that greenhouse gases threaten public health and welfare.

Urge the EPA to rescind its formal endangerment finding on greenhouse gases.

Urge Missouri's Congressional delegation to vote against H.R. 2454, the American Clean Energy and Security Act of 2009 (Waxman-Markey/Cap and Trade).

Express opposition based on concerns that cap-and-trade and EPA regulations will increase electricity costs, eliminate jobs, disproportionately burden low-income families, and disadvantage Missouri's coal-dependent economy.

Direct the Missouri House Chief Clerk to send inscribed copies of this resolution to the Governor, President Obama, Congressional leadership, the EPA Administrator, and all Missouri Congressional delegates.
