Encourages Missouri school district boards of education to voluntarily promote and include trapshooting as a high school sport in conjunction with the Missouri Youth Sport Shooting Alliance.

Recognizes trapshooting as an established competitive sport with historical origins dating to 1793, clay targets introduced in the 1880s, and Olympic inclusion since 1900.

Identifies trapshooting as developing youth skills in marksmanship, strategy, coordination, discipline, gun safety, personal responsibility, and sportsmanship.

Notes the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) administers youth recruitment initiatives and scholarship programs for college-bound trapshooters based on citizenship, scholarship, and need.

Directs the Missouri House Chief Clerk to distribute copies of the resolution to the Commissioner of Education, the Missouri Youth Sport Shooting Alliance, and all Missouri school districts.
