Encourages Missouri school district boards of education to voluntarily promote and include trap shooting as a high school sport in conjunction with the Missouri Youth Sport Shooting Alliance.

Recognizes trap shooting as an established competitive sport with Olympic history dating to 1900, governed by the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA), and growing in popularity.

Identifies trap shooting as beneficial for youth development, testing marksmanship and strategy while promoting gun safety, personal responsibility, and sportsmanship among primary and secondary students.

Notes that trap shooting provides educational opportunities and scholarship awards for college-bound participants and serves as an extracurricular activity alternative to traditional sports like football, basketball, and track.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Missouri House of Representatives to send inscribed copies of the resolution to the Commissioner of Education, the Missouri Trap Shooters Association, the Missouri Youth Sport Shooting Alliance, and all Missouri school districts.
