Allows circuit and associate circuit judges to contract with private entities to provide probation services for class C and D felonies and misdemeanors, when the sentencing judge orders private supervision.

Private probation entities must submit written applications to circuit judges for approval; approved applications and contracts must be forwarded to the Board of Probation and Parole.

Persons on private probation must contribute $30 to $65 per month to the private entity providing supervision, with the sentencing court determining the specific amount.

Courts may exempt offenders from monthly contributions if they lack employment, are students, have employment handicaps, are prevented by age, support dependents, face extenuating circumstances, or have been transferred outside the state.

Neither the state of Missouri nor any county is required to pay for private probation and rehabilitation services.
