Urges Congress to adopt a balanced budget amendment to the United States Constitution requiring that projected federal revenues and expenditures be balanced when preparing and approving the annual federal budget

Passed by the Missouri Senate and House of Representatives during the 95th General Assembly, Second Regular Session

Directs the Secretary of the Missouri Senate to send inscribed copies of the resolution to the President of the United States, President of the United States Senate, Speaker of the United States House of Representatives, and Missouri's congressional delegation
