House Bill 13 Summary

• Appropriates $149.7 million total for state government real property leases, utilities, systems furniture, structural modifications, and related expenses for fiscal year July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2012.

• Allocates funds across multiple state departments including Elementary and Secondary Education, Revenue, Agriculture, Natural Resources, Economic Development, Labor and Industrial Relations, Public Safety, Corrections, Mental Health, Health and Senior Services, Social Services, and the Legislature.

• Funds sourced from General Revenue Fund ($115.3 million), Federal Funds ($22.0 million), and Other Funds ($12.5 million).

• Allows up to 15% budget flexibility between three main appropriation sections with no more than 10% flexibility between individual departments within each section.
