HB 21 Summary

• Appropriates $140,882,154 to the Facilities Maintenance Reserve Fund ($70,882,154 for FY 2012 and $70,000,000 for FY 2013) from the General Revenue Fund for state building and facility maintenance, repairs, and improvements.

• Allocates $143,858,640 to the Office of Administration's Division of Facilities Management for statewide facility maintenance and repairs from multiple funds including the Facilities Maintenance Reserve Fund, Bingo Proceeds for Education Fund, and Veterans' Commission Capital Improvement Trust Fund.

• Funds Department of Natural Resources state parks maintenance and improvements totaling $9,756,000 for planned/unforeseen maintenance, water/wastewater improvements, roadway/trail repairs, and historic property acquisition and restoration.

• Authorizes $2,331,209 for Missouri State Highway Patrol facility repairs and replacements from the State Highways and Transportation Department Fund.

• Covers fiscal years July 1, 2011 through June 30, 2013 with Year One total of $82,042,610 and Year Two total of $73,953,243 across General Revenue, Federal, and Other Funds.
