Repeals and reenacts section 575.060, RSMo, relating to the crime of making a false declaration to a public servant.

Adds a new subsection (3) creating criminal liability for providing any verbal false statement regarding identity that the person believes or knows not to be true.

Updates gender-neutral language throughout the statute, replacing "he" with "or she" and "he" with "such person" in relevant provisions.

Defines "written" to include filings submitted in electronic or other formats approved or prescribed by the secretary of state.

Maintains the penalty for making a false declaration as a class B misdemeanor with existing defenses for retraction under specified conditions.
