Permits students enrolled in funeral service education programs accredited by the American Board of Funeral Service Education or other board-approved accrediting entities to register as practicum students and assist in licensed funeral establishments.

Requires applicants who do not complete the examination process within five years of graduation to file a new application with no credit for previous apprenticeship or fees.

Establishes a 24-month timeline for applicants to complete licensure requirements after the board accepts their application and fees, or the application will be canceled.

Requires register books or logs in funeral establishment preparation or embalming rooms documenting all embalmed bodies, dates, times, and embalmer credentials, to be available for board inspectors.
