Repeals and reenacts section 571.030, RSMo, governing unlawful use of weapons crimes in Missouri.

Prohibits persons convicted of felony violations of weapons offenses from receiving a suspended imposition of sentence if they previously received a suspended imposition of sentence for any other felony offense committed while in possession of a firearm.

Maintains existing penalty provisions for unlawful use of weapons, including class D felony as the default penalty, with class B misdemeanor for certain violations and class A or B felony for shooting offenses.

Preserves existing exemptions for peace officers, retired peace officers, armed forces members, judges, probation officers, and prosecutors when carrying weapons in their official capacity.

Allows concealed carry endorsement holders and those transporting weapons in nonfunctional or unloaded states to possess weapons in locations otherwise prohibited by the statute.
