Allows home rule cities with over 400,000 inhabitants located in more than one county to assess up to $14 in additional court costs per municipal ordinance violation case.

No additional costs may be collected in cases where the proceeding or defendant has been dismissed by the court.

Judges may waive the additional costs for defendants found to be indigent and unable to pay.

Court clerks must calculate and disburse collected costs to the city at least monthly.

Cities must use revenues to fund legal representation for indigent defendants in mental health court, drug court, or veterans court, with any remaining funds available for other indigent defense or municipal court expenses.
