Creates a Farm-to-Table Advisory Board with representatives from eight state agencies including the Department of Agriculture (which serves as chair), University of Missouri-Extension Service, Department of Elementary and Secondary Education, Department of Health and Senior Services, Department of Economic Development, Department of Corrections, Department of Mental Health, and Office of Administration.

Board shall hold at least two meetings to investigate resources and barriers that prevent schools and state institutions from purchasing locally grown agricultural products from small farms and agribusinesses with less than $5 million in annual sales.

Board must develop recommendations for maximizing existing resources and creating new programs such as training, grants, or databases to help schools incorporate local agricultural products into cafeterias, salad bars, and vending machines.

Board shall prepare a report with findings and recommendations to be delivered to the governor, general assembly, and agency directors by January 15, 2012.
