Encourages school boards in every Missouri school district to voluntarily promote and include trapshooting as a high school sport in conjunction with the Missouri Youth Sport Shooting Alliance.

Recognizes trapshooting as a competitive clay pigeon shooting sport that develops marksmanship, strategy, and discipline while teaching gun safety and personal responsibility.

Notes that trapshooting has Olympic recognition, originated in 1793, and the Amateur Trapshooting Association offers scholarships to college-bound youth participants based on citizenship, scholarship, and need.

Positions trapshooting as an extracurricular activity comparable to football, baseball, basketball, track, and other youth sports that provides opportunities for youth without traditional athletic attributes.

Directs the Chief Clerk of the Missouri House of Representatives to provide inscribed copies of the resolution to the Commissioner of Education and all Missouri school districts.
