FUTURALLIA KC 2011 is a three-day international business event scheduled for May 18-20, 2011, at the Kansas City Convention Center featuring small and medium-sized business owners and leaders for prescheduled networking meetings.

The event will attract more than 92 delegation leaders from 38 countries with over 800 entrepreneurs in attendance, marking the 16th edition of FUTURALLIA and its first U.S. hosting in 20 years.

House and Senate recognize Kansas City as host of FUTURALLIA KC 2011 and urge the Department of Economic Development to leverage this opportunity to promote Missouri as a location for foreign trade and international business.

Kansas City is positioned as a global trade hub with a metropolitan population of 2.2 million, ranked by Fortune magazine as one of the 20 best U.S. cities for international business and by Entrepreneur magazine as the No. 1 Midwest city for starting a business.

The Chief Clerk of the Missouri House of Representatives shall prepare an inscribed copy of the resolution for David Kerr, Director of the Department of Economic Development.
