Prohibits hospitals from requiring physicians to agree to make referrals to that hospital or hospital-affiliated facilities as a condition of receiving medical staff membership or privileges.

Prohibits hospitals from refusing, conditioning, or limiting medical staff membership or privileges based on whether the physician or their partner, associate, employee, or family member provides services at, owns an interest in, or holds a leadership position at another hospital, hospital system, or health care facility.

Prohibits hospitals and hospital systems from denying participatory status in a hospital health plan to physicians or their partner, associate, employee, or family member based on their affiliation with another hospital, hospital system, or health care facility.
