Repeals existing joint and several liability rules and replaces them with pure several liability for all tort actions involving compensatory or punitive damages.

Requires each defendant to be liable only for damages proportional to their percentage of fault as determined by the trier of fact.

Mandates courts calculate judgment amounts by multiplying total recoverable damages by each defendant's percentage of fault.

Allows trier of fact to consider fault of nonparties who contributed to injury or damages, but findings against nonparties cannot be used as evidence of liability in other actions.

Prohibits any party from disclosing to the trier of fact the impact of these liability rules.
