Spouses of active members of the United States Armed Forces are deemed to have good cause to leave employment to accompany the military spouse in the event of a military transfer and may qualify for unemployment benefits.

Claimants disqualified for voluntary job departure must earn wages equal to ten times their weekly benefit amount before becoming eligible for waiting week credit or benefits.

Temporary employees must contact their temporary help firm for reassignment prior to filing for benefits or face disqualification, provided they were notified of this requirement.

Claimants discharged for misconduct must earn wages equal to six times their weekly benefit amount before benefits resume, or more for multiple disqualifications within the base period.

Individuals in approved Trade Act of 1974 training programs cannot be disqualified for benefits, and leaving unsuitable employment to enter such training does not result in disqualification.
