Repeals and replaces section 208.010, RSMo, relating to public assistance eligibility determinations and treatment of funeral-related trusts and assets.

Allows up to $9,999 placed in an irrevocable trust for final disposition of a dead human body, funeral or burial services, facilities, or merchandise to be excluded from asset calculations for federally aided programs, with any overage after final disposition paid to the state up to the amount of public assistance benefits provided.

Renames "division of family services" to "family support division" throughout the statute.

Exempts irrevocable prearranged funeral or burial contracts under chapter 436 and burial lots from being counted as assets when determining public assistance eligibility, with refunds from such contracts paid to the state.

Makes technical corrections to subsection numbering, renumbering former subsections 6-12 as 7-13, with new subsection 5 establishing the funeral trust exclusion.
