Public administrators may request case transfers to another county by filing a petition; if the receiving county meets venue requirements and its public administrator consents, the court shall transfer the case without requiring a hearing.

The receiving county's public administrator is appointed as successor guardian and/or conservator upon case transfer without necessity of a hearing under section 475.075.

Final settlements of conservatorships must be filed within 30 days of case transfer in the original court, then forwarded to the receiving county after audit and approval.

Three or more political subdivisions may form a business entity to provide liability and other insurance, including for elderly or low-income housing, on an assessment plan basis.

Risk coverages procured by political subdivisions through such business entities are exempt from competitive bidding requirements and are not deemed insurance transactions under state law.
