Repeals and replaces section 339.1115 of Missouri Revised Statutes relating to exemptions from appraisal management company registration and regulation requirements.

Eliminates the requirement that national or state banks, federal or state savings institutions, and credit unions file a notice with the commission when assigning appraisal requests to independent contractor appraisers.

Maintains existing exemptions for appraisal firms, appraiser-to-appraiser agreements with dual signature requirements, state and local government agencies ordering appraisals for tax purposes, and attorneys and court-appointed representatives contracting directly with independent appraisers.
