Repeals section 115.755 (which set presidential primary date as first Tuesday after first Monday in February) and replaces it with new scheduling language in section 115.123

Establishes presidential primary elections to be held on the first Tuesday after the first Monday in March of each presidential election year

Increases filing fees for presidential primary candidates from $1,000 to $5,000 for elections held on or before December 1, 2012, and to $10,000 for elections held thereafter

Maintains alternative option for candidates unable to pay filing fee to submit a petition signed by at least 5,000 registered Missouri voters instead

Sets candidate filing deadlines for presidential primary as between 8:00 a.m. on the fifteenth Tuesday prior to the primary and 5:00 p.m. on the eleventh Tuesday prior
