Repeals and reenacts section 160.522 to modify requirements for annual school accountability report cards produced by the Department of Elementary and Secondary Education.

Adds requirement that school accountability report cards include whether the school district currently has a state-approved gifted education program or services.

Adds requirement that report cards include the percentage and number of students currently being served in the district's state-approved gifted education program or services.

Maintains existing report card requirements including accreditation ratings, enrollment, attendance rates, dropout and graduation rates, suspension and expulsion data, student achievement scores, and financial information.

Requires school districts to provide report card information to parents, community members, media, and legislators by December 1st annually or as soon as information becomes available.
