Successful completion of a military motorcycle rider training course meeting or exceeding Motorcycle Safety Foundation curriculum standards exempts active U.S. armed forces members from the motorcycle road skills driving test required for licensure or endorsement.

Director of Revenue is authorized to promulgate rules and regulations governing the presentment of motorcycle training course completion cards and documentation showing completion of basic motorcycle safety instruction meeting curriculum standards.

The exemption applies to applicants who are active members of the U.S. armed forces and have completed a military course meeting or exceeding standards established by the Motorcycle Safety Foundation or other national motorcycle safety organizations.

Rules created under this authority are subject to Chapter 536 procedures for review, delay, or disapproval by the general assembly, with all rulemaking authority becoming void if these legislative oversight powers are held unconstitutional.
