State Board of Education must establish a coordinated health program board no later than January 1, 2013, and make a coordinated health program available to all school districts by January 1, 2014.

The coordinated health program must be designed to prevent obesity, cardiovascular disease, and type II diabetes in elementary and secondary students.

The program shall coordinate health education, physical education and physical activity, nutrition services, and parental involvement.

School districts may participate in training for program implementation approved by the State Board of Education and may implement the program in their elementary and secondary schools.

State Board of Education may provide necessary training in cooperation with the Department of Health and Senior Services, and all rules must comply with Missouri's rulemaking provisions in chapter 536.
