Repeals and replaces section 209.200, RSMo, to add "professional therapy dog" to the definition of "service dog" in Missouri law.

Defines "professional therapy dog" as a dog selected, trained, and tested to provide specific physical therapeutic functions under a qualified handler as part of the handler's occupation or profession.

Specifies that professional therapy dogs perform functions in institutional settings, community-based group settings, or when providing services to individuals with disabilities.

Excludes volunteer visitation therapy dogs (certified or not) from the definition of professional therapy dog.

Applies the service dog protections to professional therapy dogs working as part of a handler-dog team in their professional capacity.
