Repeals and reenacts section 302.535, RSMo, relating to driver's license suspensions and trial de novo petitions.

Filing a petition for trial de novo does not result in a stay of the suspension or revocation order, but the department shall issue a temporary driving permit valid until final disposition of the petition.

Removes provisions that previously allowed restricted driving privileges based on prior alcohol-related enforcement contact history during the preceding five years.

Eliminates the department's discretion to issue additional restricted driving privileges when considering prior convictions and driving record upon filing a petition for trial de novo.

Removes the provision allowing restricted driving privilege time pending trial de novo disposition to count toward any restricted driving privilege imposed under section 302.525.
