Repeals and reenacts section 483.015, RSMo, regarding the appointment of circuit clerks.

Changes the circuit clerk selection method in the twenty-second judicial circuit from election by qualified voters to appointment by a majority of circuit judges and associate circuit judges, en banc.

Circuit clerk in the twenty-second judicial circuit becomes removable for cause by a majority of circuit judges and associate circuit judges in accordance with supreme court administrative rules.

Allows the currently elected circuit clerk in the twenty-second judicial circuit to continue serving for the remainder of their elected term under the previous system.

Maintains existing provisions for circuit clerk selection in other counties and circuits, including Jackson County, St. Louis County, the sixth judicial circuit, and the seventh judicial circuit.
