Repeals section 575.070 and enacts two new sections (575.064 and 575.070) relating to obstruction of justice.

Establishes obstruction of justice crime when a person knowingly destroys, alters, conceals, or disguises physical evidence; plants false evidence; furnishes false information; or induces a witness to leave the state or conceal themselves.

Establishes obstruction of justice crime when a person with knowledge material to an issue intentionally leaves the state or conceals themselves.

Classifies obstruction of justice as a class A misdemeanor, or as a class D felony if the actor obstructs prosecution or defense of a felony.

Requires proof of false statements in perjury-related convictions (sections 575.040, 575.050, 575.060, 575.065) by direct evidence of two witnesses, one witness with corroboration, demonstrative evidence, contradictory sworn statements, or judicial admission.
