Requires all insurers authorized to write homeowners' or dwelling-owners' insurance in Missouri to make sinkhole loss coverage available as an additional premium option, effective January 1, 2013.

Sinkhole coverage may be offered as part of the underlying policy or as an endorsement or rider to cover structures and personal property contents.

Insurers must inform policyholders in bold 14-point font that their policy excludes sinkhole losses and that additional coverage is available for purchase.

Defines "sinkhole loss" as physical damage to a building resulting from sudden settlement or collapse caused by subterranean voids created by water action on limestone or similar rock formations.

Authorizes the Director of Insurance to promulgate rules and regulations for administering and enforcing the sinkhole coverage requirements.
