Requires preneed funeral contract agents to be registered with the board, with exceptions for licensed funeral directors.

Applicants for preneed agent registration must be at least 18 years old, pass the Missouri law examination, and pay an application fee not exceeding 50% of a funeral director license application fee.

Starting August 28, 2015, all new preneed agents must hold a valid Missouri funeral director's license; existing preneed agents prior to that date may continue under previous requirements.

Preneed agents must renew registration annually by October 31st and provide names and addresses of all sellers they are authorized to represent.

The board must maintain a public registry of all registered preneed agents and funeral directors acting as preneed agents on its website.
