Repeals the definition of "switchblade knife" as a separate prohibited weapon and reclassifies it under the general definition of "knife" in Missouri law.

Redefines "knife" to include switchblades while explicitly exempting ordinary pocketknives and hunting knives (whether fixed blade or folding) from knife regulations.

Removes switchblade knives from the list of weapons that constitute a Class A misdemeanor when possessed, manufactured, transported, repaired, or sold.

Changes penalty classifications by eliminating switchblade-specific criminal penalties and adjusting subsection numbering accordingly in the weapons statute.
