Repeals and reenacts section 178.530, RSMo, regarding vocational programming standards and funding.

Maintains existing state board of education authority to establish standards and annually inspect public prevocational and vocational schools, Linn State Technical College, and related departments receiving state or federal money.

Adds new provision allowing the state board of education to establish separate standards for agricultural education that private schools may voluntarily adopt to provide vocational programming.

Allows private schools meeting the state board's agricultural education standards to apply for approval of a local chapter of a federally chartered national agricultural education association.

Explicitly prohibits private school agricultural education chapters from receiving state or federal funding for vocational education.
