Repeals and replaces section 115.349 of Missouri Revised Statutes relating to candidate filing deadlines for primary elections

Moves the filing deadline for all primary elections held in August after August 28, 2012 from the last Tuesday in March to the second Tuesday in March at 5:00 p.m.

Filing deadline for county and state office candidates in August primary elections is now the second Tuesday in March immediately preceding the election

Maintains the existing filing window opening at 8:00 a.m. on the last Tuesday in February immediately preceding the primary election

Declaration of candidacy form requirements remain unchanged, requiring candidate's full name, residence address, office sought, party ticket, and oath of qualification
