Prohibits employers from requesting or requiring employees or applicants to disclose usernames, passwords, or other access credentials for personal accounts or services on electronic devices.

Allows employers to require disclosure of credentials for nonpersonal accounts or services that provide access to the employer's internal computer systems or information.

Prohibits employers from discharging, disciplining, penalizing, or threatening to penalize employees who refuse to disclose personal account information as specified in the bill.

Prohibits employers from refusing to hire applicants based on their refusal to disclose personal account information.

Defines key terms including "applicant," "electronic communications device" (computers, telephones, personal digital assistants, and similar devices), and "employer" (including agents and designees of any business, industry, profession, trade, or government unit in Missouri).
