Rejects all policies and procedures that would be required of Missouri based on the Common Core Standards Initiative (CCSI)

Expresses concern that Missouri was pressured to adopt CCSI standards within two months to compete for Race to the Top funding despite minimal stakeholder input from local education officials, teachers, and parents

Claims that centralized education standards lack empirical evidence of improving student achievement and that some states would be forced to lower their existing standards' rigor and quality

States that the National Assessment of Educational Progress already allows interstate academic comparisons without imposing national standards, curricula, or assessments

Directs the Missouri House Chief Clerk to send copies of the resolution to the U.S. Department of Education, Missouri's Congressional delegation, and Missouri Department of Elementary and Secondary Education
