Encourages Missouri school boards to voluntarily promote and include trapshooting as a high school sport in conjunction with the Missouri Youth Sport Shooting Alliance.

Recognizes trapshooting as an established sport with international recognition, dating back to at least 1793 and included in the Olympic program since 1900.

Notes that trapshooting develops marksmanship, discipline, and confidence in youth regardless of physical attributes, and that scholarships are available to college-bound trapshooters.

Identifies economic benefits to Missouri from trap shooting competitions, including tourism spending at hotels, restaurants, and retail establishments.

Directs the Chief Clerk to distribute copies of the resolution to the Missouri Commissioner of Education, Missouri School Activities Association, Missouri Trapshooters Association, and all school districts and schools in Missouri.
