Repeals and reenacts section 339.010, RSMo, regarding definitions and licensing requirements for real estate brokers, salespersons, and broker-salespersons in Missouri.

Removes the exemption for auctioneers employed by property owners from real estate licensing requirements, making auctioneers subject to the same licensing rules as other real estate professionals.

Maintains existing exemptions for owners, lessors, lessees, attorneys-at-law, court-appointed fiduciaries, property managers, government employees, utilities, financial institutions, media outlets, developers, nonprofits, and neighborhood associations.

Updates internal statutory cross-references from section 339.860 to section 339.855 throughout the licensing provisions covering sections 339.010 to 339.180 and 339.710 to 339.855.
