Requires sample sheets for constitutional amendments, statutory initiatives, and referendum petitions to be submitted to the secretary of state before circulation for signatures.

Secretary of state must post petitions on its website within two days of receipt, including the full text of the proposed measure, a disclaimer that the text may not be complete, and the name of the submitting individual or organization.

Attorney general must examine petitions for form sufficiency and forward approval or rejection comments to the secretary of state within ten days of receipt.

Secretary of state makes final decision on petition form approval or rejection and must notify the petition submitter in writing within thirty days of submission.

Secretary of state's failure to comply with website posting requirements constitutes a violation under section 610.027.
