Adds section 87.375 to Missouri law allowing organized fire departments to adopt a local ordinance superseding the state pension plan covered under sections 87.120 to 87.370

Fire department employees hired on or after the effective date of a local ordinance adopting a new pension plan shall become members of that new local plan instead of the state plan

Newly hired employees are exempted from provisions of sections 87.120 to 87.370 upon adoption of a superseding local ordinance

Applies only to employees hired after the ordinance becomes effective; does not affect current employees under the existing state pension system
