Requires disposition hearings within 30 days of seizure of dogs involved in dog fighting violations to determine immediate disposition.

Mandates impounded dogs be placed in care of a veterinarian, animal control authority, or animal shelter, unless the dog is diseased or disabled beyond recovery.

Allows owners or custodians to prevent disposition by posting bond or security for at least 30 days of care; custody authority may dispose of dog after bond period expires unless court orders otherwise.

Prohibits owners from recovering damages or the value of dogs that were humanely killed if the dog was diseased/disabled or if the owner failed to post required bond or security.

Authorizes law enforcement officers to apply for and serve search warrants and seize property used in dog fighting violations under sections 578.025 to 578.050.
