Recognizes Missouri's hundreds of rivers and streams spanning more than 110,000 miles across the state that provide recreational opportunities including boating, fishing, swimming, and bird watching

Acknowledges the historical importance of the Mississippi and Missouri Rivers to Missouri's development as a supply center for westward expansion, agriculture, and transportation via steamboats and barges

Directs the Secretary of the Missouri Senate to prepare an inscribed copy of the resolution for Kathleen Steele-Danner, Director of the Division of Tourism
