Repeals and replaces Section 17 of Article IV of the Missouri Constitution relating to term limits for statewide elected officials.

Limits governor, lieutenant governor, secretary of state, attorney general, and state auditor to two consecutive terms of four years each.

Limits state treasurer to two consecutive terms of four years each.

Prohibits anyone who has served more than two years of a term (whether elected or by succession) in any of these six offices from being elected to any of these offices again.

Submits the amendment to Missouri voters at the general election on the Tuesday following the first Monday in November 2012, or at a special election called by the governor.
